As in other martial arts, cordas (belts) are earned as students progress along their Capoeira journey.

Arte Reviver Capoeira's corda system recognizes each student's growth, dedication, and progress in the art, celebrating development in movement, music, and history. We hold ceremonies called a “Batizado e Troca de Corda” twice yearly. During these events, students graduate to the next corda level. Not all Capoeira groups follow the same system. The Arte Reviver Capoeira corda system is shown below with Corda Adulta - Adult Cordas, Corda Juvenil 9 ate' 15 anos - Youth Cordas 9-15 years old, and Corda Mirim 4 ate' 8 anos - Kids Coras 4-8 years old.
